> ## Documentation Index > Fetch the complete documentation index at: https://learn.kubit.ai/llms.txt > Use this file to discover all available pages before exploring further. # Join your team on Kubit > Accept a Kubit invite, sign in with a passkey and create your first report by asking a question. This guide takes you from the invite email to a saved report. You'll create your account, set up a passkey, join your organization and ask Kubit a question about your data. It takes about 5 minutes. ## Before you start * [ ] The invite email from Kubit. Its subject is `Welcome to Kubit` and it opens with `You're Invited!`. * [ ] A browser and device that support passkeys, such as a laptop with a fingerprint reader or a phone * [ ] A workspace in your organization that already has data (agent traces, clickstream events or both). Your admin sets this up in [Set up your organization](https://learn.kubit.ai/start-here/admin.md). ## Steps ### 1. Open the invite The email reads `You've been invited by {inviter email} to join {organization} on Kubit.` The invite doesn't expire. | You are | Button in the email | Where it goes | | - | - | - | | New to Kubit | **Get Started** | Sign-up, with your email filled in | | Already on Kubit (another organization) | **Log In** | Sign-in, with your email filled in. Skip to **Join the organization**. | Signed in to Kubit as someone else? Kubit signs you out first, then opens sign-in for the invited email. ### 2. Create your account On **Sign Up**, check the **Work Email** and click **Continue**. Or click **Continue with Google** to use your Google account. Kubit emails you a code. On **Check Your Inbox**, type it into **Verification Code** and click **Continue**. No email? After 30 seconds, a **Resend** link appears. Sign-up doesn't ask for your name. Add it later in **Settings** > **Profile** > **Name**. ### 3. Create a passkey On **Secure Your Account**, click **Create Passkey**. The card reads `Sign in with biometrics or a security key—no password to remember.` Your browser or device asks you to confirm with your fingerprint, face, PIN or security key. Keep the tab open and don't refresh until setup finishes. Prefer a password? Click **Create Password**, then fill in **Password** and **Confirm password**. You can add a passkey later from **Settings** > **Security**. | Password rule | Value | | - | - | | Length | At least **8** characters, at most **256** | | Letters | Both lowercase and uppercase | | Numbers | At least **1** | | Special characters | At least **1**, such as `! @ # % & ?` | | Spaces | Not allowed at the start or end | ### 4. Join the organization After you sign in, an **Organization Invitation** dialog opens. It reads `{inviter} has invited you to join {organization}.`, or `You've been invited to join {organization}.` when the inviter hasn't set a name. Click **Join**. Kubit opens the organization's workspace. **Decline** turns the invite down. ### 5. Ask a question The workspace opens on **Ask**, which greets you with `How can I help you?`. On your first visit, a product tour opens first. For agent traces, for example: > "What's the tool call failure rate by agent over the last 7 days?" For clickstream events: > "How many users completed checkout each day last week?" Under the prompt box, **Sample questions** offers a few to try until the workspace has 3 saved chats. Kubit builds a report and shows it in the **Report** panel. ### 6. Save the report In the **Report** panel, click **Open in Explorer**. The report opens in a new browser tab. Click the report's title and type a name. Then click **Save**. A toast reads `Report settings saved`. **Availability:** **Save** needs the Member role or higher. A Viewer can ask questions and open reports but can't save changes to them. ## Sign in with your passkey A passkey signs you in without a password. On the Kubit sign-in page: 1. Enter your **Work Email** and click **Continue**. Or pick the passkey your browser offers in the email field, and skip to step 3. 2. Click **Continue with Passkey**. 3. Confirm on your device within **60 seconds**. Your organization chooses which sign-in methods its email domain allows, and the screen after **Continue** shows only those. When passwords are allowed, a password field and **Reset Password?** appear. When the domain uses single sign-on, **Continue with SSO** appears. ## Manage passkeys Your passkeys are listed in **Settings** > **Security** under **Passkeys**. Each row shows the passkey's name, **This device** or **Security key**, and the date it was created. | Task | How | | - | - | | Add a passkey | Click **New Passkey** and follow your device's prompt | | Remove a passkey | Click the trash icon on its row. In **Delete this passkey?**, click **Delete**. | | Constraint | Details | | - | - | | Google sign-in | **Not supported.** Accounts that sign in with Google can't add passkeys. | | One Kubit site | A passkey works only on the Kubit site where you created it. | | Organization policy | Some organizations don't allow passkeys. Sign-in then shows `Your organization doesn't allow signing in with a passkey. Use another option, or ask your administrator which one to use.` | ## Verify Open **Search** in the left nav and choose the **Reports** filter. The report you saved is listed by name. ## If it fails | Symptom | Cause | Fix | | - | - | - | | `Please use your work email address` | The email is on a personal or free domain | Ask your admin to invite your company email | | `Account already registered, please sign in` | You already have a Kubit account | Sign in, then click **Join** in the invitation dialog | | `Session expired. Verify your email.` | The verification code expired before you finished | Go back and enter a new code. Click **Resend** if needed. | | `Your browser does not support passkeys` | The browser has no passkey support | Use a current browser, or click **Create Password** | | `Passkey creation cancelled. You can try again or set a password instead.` | The device prompt was closed | Click **Create Passkey** again | | `This device already has a passkey for your account. Sign in with it instead.` | A passkey for this account is already on the device | Sign in with **Continue with Passkey** | | `No passkey on this device. Sign in with your password.` | The passkey was created on another device | Sign in another way, then add a passkey on this device | | `No passkey found for this email` | No passkey exists for this account | Sign in another way, then add one in **Settings** > **Security** | | `Failed to join organization.
