# Funnel Frequency mode

> Kubit's Funnel Frequency mode shows how many times subjects trigger a step's event before they move to the next step.

Frequency mode shows how many times subjects trigger an event at one step before they move to the next. Run a [Funnel report](https://learn.kubit.ai/product-analytics/reports/funnel.md) with **Mode** set to **Frequency** to use it.

## What the chart shows

The Frequency chart shows two things for the step you pick:

* The number of times subjects triggered the step's event before moving to the next step
* The percentage of subjects that triggered it each number of times before moving on

## Constraints

| Constraint | Details |
| - | - |
| Steps shown | One step at a time |
| Last step | Has no frequency, since no step follows it |
| Time unit | Fixed to **All Time**, to keep the chart readable |
| Step order | Frequency is calculated only between consecutive steps, so it isn't available with **Order: Any** |
| Partition | **Partition: None** isn't recommended. It can produce very high frequencies that are hard to read. |

Frequency mode works best with short conversion windows, up to 1 day.
